This assessment is designed to help organizations honestly evaluate their readiness to adopt AI. It is intentionally direct — vague answers do not produce useful results, and most organizations are further behind than they think they are. The point is not to score well; the point is to identify the work that needs to happen first.
Small and mid-sized businesses (typically 10–100 employees) considering AI investments, evaluating their current AI exposure, or building an internal AI strategy. The assessment can be completed by a single executive, by a leadership team, or facilitated by a KeyStone Solutions consultant.
Each question offers four options describing increasing levels of maturity. Select the option that best describes your current state — not your aspirations. Each option is worth 0, 1, 2, or 3 points. There are five questions per dimension, for a maximum of 15 points per dimension and 90 points overall.
Specific next-step recommendations are shown directly underneath each question — if you select option 0 or 1, the recommendation tied to that question is the work that needs to happen first. Each dimension also produces an overall score and tier (Emerging, Developing, Established, Leading), with high-level guidance at the end of the dimension. The per-question recommendations are where the real work lives; the dimension and overall scores set context for the strategy conversation.
